Key Role:
Financial & Management Accounting Expertise
* Timely Month-End Close Activities: Play a pivotal role in efficient and accurate month-end closing, including journal preparation, reconciliation performance, and data integrity assurance.
* Management Accounting Support: Contribute to the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasting, providing variance analysis and insightful commentary.
* Financial Data Validation & Analysis: Focus on validating financial data, ensuring accuracy, and applying critical thinking for various analysis tasks.
* Operational Integration: Collaborate closely with the Finance Manager and administrative team, assisting with invoice approvals and participating as the team grows.
* Process Enhancement: Identify and contribute to opportunities for continuous improvement within financial processes and systems.
* Ad-hoc Financial Projects: Support the team with financial analysis and special projects as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Commercial Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial accounting roles.
* Month-End Expertise: A solid understanding and practical experience with month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and accruals.
* System Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems.
* Excel Proficiency: Exceptional Excel skills, including strong knowledge of functions and shortcuts.
* Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to question financial information.
