compassionate Occupational Therapist
with experience working in
infant mental health
and
early childhood

About the role
This opportunity is a specialised and rewarding role focusing on
early infancy development
,
maternal wellbeing
, and
the adjustment to parenthood
. You will provide holistic, family-centred support that promotes confidence, healthy early attachment and connection, as well as positive early experiences between mothers and their babies.
Through evidence-informed and affirming practice, you will help strengthen the
parent-infant interactions
, promote
co-regulation
, and support
engagement
in the everyday routines of early caregiving.
Collaborate with families to develop tailored strategies that support emotional regulation, sensory processing, and developmental milestones.

Your responsibilities
Providing comprehensive assessment for children with a range of conditions
Providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy intervention either individually or in a group setting
Working closely with families to develop therapy programs specific to each individual
Working collaboratively with other allied health professionals
Essential criteria
3 Years Experience Working with Children and Families
Bachelor/Master of Occupational Therapy
Current Registration with AHPRA
Working with Children Check
Driver's License and Own Insured Car
