Key Responsibilities
* Provide clear leadership in logistics emphasizing hazard awareness and safety.
* Ensure compliance with legislation COR fleet maintenance and transport requirements.
* Drive customer delivery performance managing a team of delivery coordinators.
* Balance customer service with a focus on being a low-cost operator.
* Motivate and organize teams ensuring productivity targets are met.
* Manage and control fleet assets.
Key Accountabilities
* Oversee annual operating budget expenses sales and revenue.
* Ensure excellent customer service and maintain regulatory compliance.
* Drive commercial results and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
* Develop and manage staff performance to meet or exceed targets.
* Foster improvements in employee engagement and uphold company values.
* Ensure safety and compliance in all aspects including process safety and environmental concerns.
Essential
* Fleet/Logistics/Driver Management Qualifications.
* Proven management experience with financial acumen.
* Expertise in fleet and distribution management problem-solving and financial analysis.
* Results-driven with strong communication skills.
* Substantial experience driving commercial trucks and relevant driver's license.
* Working in teams and performance improvement.
* Extensive knowledge of compliance and dangerous goods legislation.
