AV Technician / Data Technician
Location: Sydney, NSW Job Type: Audio Visual / Data Communication Competitive rates + Overtime
Are you a hands-on technician with a passion for AV systems and data cabling? We're looking for a motivated AV Technician / Data Technician to join our dynamic team working on exciting commercial and residential projects across Sydney.
Your new role
* Install, configure, and maintain AV systems including projectors, displays, speakers, and control systems
* Run, terminate, and test structured cabling (Cat6, Cat6A, fibre)
* Troubleshoot and resolve AV and network connectivity issues
* Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver high-quality installations
* Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to WHS standards
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in AV installation and/or data cabling
* Strong understanding of AV signal flow and network infrastructure
* White Card and relevant industry certifications (e.g. Open Cabling Licence)
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Driver's licence and own tools (preferred)
