About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to the HSE Lead for all safety, health and environment activities on the project.
The role involves ensuring compliance with Safety and Environment Management plans, Traffic Management plan and Fatigue Management plan. You will also provide advice on all safety, health and environmental issues.
Additionally, you will be analysing safety statistics, reporting on trends and recommending actions to improve safety. This includes reviewing all project activities, work practices and procedures for continuous improvement in safety, health and environment.
Requirements include minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, formal qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, knowledge of OH&S legislation, Codes of Practice and Australian and State Standards as they apply to the construction and maintenance industry.
Also required is experience in maintenance or shutdown projects, computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft products in particular Word, Excel and Outlook.
