What you’ll be doingThe Director – Advisory in Atturra leads the design and implementation of strategic frameworks that align an organisation's processes, people, capabilities, financial structures, and technology with its overall business strategy. This role involves defining and driving operational changes, optimising resource allocation, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new operating model.The Director will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our strategy and operational transformation initiatives across different industrial sectors, with a strong focus on ensuring financial sustainability and return on investment (ROI).• Develop and implement the TOM, including process mapping, organisational structure, technology architecture, financial planning models, and resource allocation.• Lead and oversee cross-functional project teams, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality results – using innovation to solve clients’ operational and financial challenges.• Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and inform TOM design decisions, including financial benchmarking, cost-benefit analysis, and capital efficiency metrics.• Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of complex operations and financial management and the ability to manage several client projects concurrently.• Evaluate and optimize workflows to streamline operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance overall performance, while maintaining budgetary control and financial accountability.• Utilise data-driven approaches, including statistical analysis, financial modelling, and forecasting, to generate meaningful insights and guide business strategies.• Assess and design financial governance frameworks, reporting structures, and investment appraisal mechanisms that support strategic decision-making.• Craft clear and well-narrated slides, transforming detailed technical and financial findings into engaging presentations that inspire confidence and action among key stakeholders.Working Conditions:• (Employment Type) – Permanent Full Time / Contractual• (Work Arrangement) – Onsite• (Office Location) – Anywhere in Australia• (Travel Opportunities) – Occasional Interstate business travelWhat will make you successful in this role?• At least 10–15 years of experience in management consulting or senior project advisory roles, with a strong focus on strategy, target operating model, operational transformation, and strategic financial planning.• You have a proven track record of helping clients identify and achieve measurable improvements in areas such as operational efficiency, cost reduction, business performance, and financial optimisation.• Proven experience leading transformation consulting projects, managing senior relationships within top listed organisations, and managing large, diverse teams, virtually and face-to-face.• Demonstrated experience in leading client pursuits and ability to adapt to market trends with innovative solutions, including financial strategy alignment and investment prioritisation.• Proven ability to quickly build rapport and grow client relationships to establish a strong network in the market, particularly in roles involving both operational and financial advisory.• Experience in a leadership role emphasising the capability to manage high-performing consulting teams, grow and develop junior team members into future leaders, and drive a culture of continuous learning.• Able to understand current market trends and disruptions.
