Our Industrial Packaging division imports, manufactures and distributes a wide range of packaging solutions. Whether it be corrugated cartons, void fill, protective packaging, plastics, tapes or strapping, Pro-Pac has its customers' needs covered.
**Job Description**:
In this role you will manage new and existing accounts. You will contact customers through varies forms of communication, sell our full suite of packaging products. Perform sales and service functions for targeted markets, programs.
**Key Responsibilities of the position**:
- Manage the accounts in the territory, region, or product specific markets, taking the order and order entry; scheduling product delivery; addressing delivery or quality issues as needed.
- Contact known and potential users of company products to ascertain requirements, identify projects and timing
- Manage the web site inquiries and either respond or refer the inquiries to the appropriate person in the organization.
- Provide territory information including forecast and market information for strategic planning purposes.
- Contact current customers to sell product and communicate company policies on unit price, product availability, scheduling/shipping date, payment terms, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the customer.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and product data information.
- Match product availability and company programs with customer requirements.
- Review customer purchase orders received for price and consistency with company Terms and Condition of Sale.
- Maintain files for orders and the customer address data base.
- Follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
- Receive and document customer complaints.
**Qualifications**:
**To be successful, you will have**:
- Demonstrated experience in customer service and/or internal sales function within a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or operations focused business.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal business units
- Pronto experience would be highly diserable
