Shutdown Scheduler Fixed Plant
In this role, your overall focus will be to develop an executable schedule for large-scale shutdowns based on maintenance and life of asset strategy. Apply Lean Principles to ensure the shutdown schedule is optimised from a Safety, Cost and Quality perspective. Reporting to the Planning and Scheduling Superintendent, your duties will include:
Responsibilities
* Develop shutdown schedules over an 18-week period following a disciplined shutdown process.
* Develop efficient critical paths for process plant shutdowns that meet the mines requirements.
* Identify task interactions that could impact safety and work with maintenance teams to eliminate them.
* Create shutdown schedules that align with cost targets and budgets.
* Confirm all resources including parts, labour and tolling are available for shutdown.
* Use and understand key KPIs to measure shutdown schedule efficiency.
* Develop sound relationships with stakeholders to achieve optimum results.
* Facilitate key shutdown preparation and execution meetings.
* Facilitate post‑shutdown improvement meetings and apply lessons learned to future shutdowns.
What you'll bring

* Background in processing plant operations or maintenance.
* Previous experience in maintenance scheduling and planning for large‑scale machinery/processing plants.
* Previous exposure to SAP, MS Excel and Prometheus.
Candidates must be currently residing in Western Australia and legally entitled to work in Australia.
