Technical Data Migration Consultant | SAP S/4 HANA
Are you an experienced Technical Data Migration Consultant looking to make a significant impact on a large scale ERP transformation? We are seeking a specialist to play a pivotal role in migrating and transforming critical data for an upcoming SAP S/4 HANA transition.
THE ROLE
In this position, you will manage end to end data migration efforts, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and quality. You will leverage expertise in SAP BODS and Info Steward to design extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes while collaborating closely with business stakeholders to align migration strategies with organisational needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* ETL Management: Use SAP DS to design, implement, and monitor ETL processes.
* Data Quality: Manage enterprise data quality using SAP Information Steward, including data cleansing, metadata management, and configuring business rules and scorecards.
* Analysis and Mapping: Conduct thorough data analysis and mapping to ensure accuracy across systems.
* Development: Develop SQL queries to extract, cleanse, and validate data during migration.
* Reporting: Create PowerBI dashboards to provide insights into migration progress and data health.
* Leadership: Lead a team of Technical and Business Data Analysts and ETL specialists.
* Automation: Apply Python (preferred) for automation and advanced analytics.
* Project Coordination: Use SAP CALM and JIRA for project monitoring and coordination.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Mandatory Requirements:
* Technical Expertise: Proven expertise in SAP BODS and SAP Info Steward.
* Data Proficiency: Strong SQL skills for querying and transformation, plus solid experience in data analysis.
* Visualization: Proficiency in PowerBI for project tracking and reporting.
* Planning: Ability to plan and report progress on a per object basis.
* Compliance: A successful Criminal History Check is required for this position.
Highly Regarded:
* Experience with Python for data manipulation.
* Familiarity with SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (CALM) and JIRA.
