About the Role
As an Ambulance Transport Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe transport of non-emergency patients. Your duties will include performing patient assessments, providing treatment and interventions on-road, and maintaining positive relationships with patients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform patient assessment and intervention on-road
* Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
* Perform independently and problem-solve within established policies and procedures
* Work collaboratively with other team members
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) or equivalent qualification recognized by RFDS or DHHS. You must also have completed required clinical placements, passed a Clinical Skills Assessment, and gained a minimum of 400 hours operational experience under direct supervision. Additionally, you must have the ability to work 10 and 12-hour shifts across 7 days, drive in both city and country traffic conditions, and possess a compassionate and professional demeanor.
