We are seeking an experienced and reliable
Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Storeperson
to support warehouse and production operations. This role is essential in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely load, unload, and transport materials.
* Moving and stacking pallets within warehouse and production areas.
* Conducting routine forklift safety inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
* Accurately scanning, logging, and recording inventory movements.
* Assisting with the receiving and dispatching of goods in alignment with safety procedures.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard-free workspace.
* Collaborating with team members to meet operational time-frames and quality standards.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
* A current
Counterbalance Forklift Licence
.
* Demonstrated experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
* Strong adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
* Physical capability to lift heavy items and perform manual handling tasks.
* Effective communication, teamwork skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
* Basic computer or scanning system skills for inventory management.
