ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a determined Civil Engineer to join a motivated and goal-oriented team, contributing to the delivery of projects from concept through to completion. The role involves planning and delivering complex building projects. You will also conduct site inspections and support the tender process. You will also coordinate closely with site logistics, builders, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. In this role, you will gain exposure to a range of residential and commercial subdivisions, land development projects, and other specialised works.
DUTIES
* Deliver WSUD (Water Sensitive Urban Design) and On-Site Detention (OSD) designs for development projects
* Prepare reports and project updates, liaise directly with the Senior Civil Engineer
* Undertake stormwater and drainage designs and perform flood modelling assessments
* Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to meet deliverables effectively
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering or similar
* Proficient in Civil 3D, 12D, MUSIC, DRAINS, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, or similar software
* Knowledge on WSUD, OSD, and stormwater design
* Experience working in residential and commercial subdivisions and land-development projects
* Proven ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally
