Senior Production Coordinator / Product Developer – Offshore
This full-time role is integral to our production and product development operations, overseeing offshore manufacturing across woven garments and knitwear categories. You will work closely with suppliers, factories, and internal teams to ensure products are developed and delivered to the highest quality, on time, and in line with brand standards.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage offshore production across woven and knitwear categories
* Partner with offshore factories and suppliers throughout the product development lifecycle
* Oversee sampling, fit approvals, technical specifications, and production execution
* Monitor production timelines, quality standards, and costing to ensure efficiency and profitability
* Collaborate with design, product development, and operations teams to bring new collections to lifeLiaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and strong working relationships
* Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions proactively
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflow efficiencies, and production outcomes
* Provide regular production updates and reporting to management
Qualifications
* Strong technical garment knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and proven experience coordinating offshore production within the fashion industry
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in offshore production coordination and/or product development within the fashion industry
* Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrication, and garment technology
* Solid knowledge of pattern making and technical specification development
* Proven experience working directly with offshore factories and suppliers
* Excellent project management, problem-solving, and organisational skills
* Excellent ability to work with and be part of an efficient team
* High attention to detail with the ability to coordinate multiple production timelines simultaneously
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience using production planning systems; AP21 experience highly regarded
* Australian work rights are required for this position
