About the Role
Reporting to the Field Service / Mining Builds Coordinator, you will oversee all Perth Field Service operations, ensuring timely, efficient and customer‐focused service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of Field Service Technicians and apprentices
* Plan, schedule, allocate and coordinate labour, parts, tooling and resources
* Oversee diagnostics, maintenance, repair, and breakdown support activities
* Ensure all job documentation, QA compliance, WIP and invoicing targets are met
* Provide accurate job quotations and follow-up with customers
* Conduct toolbox talks, safety conversations and performance coaching
* Build strong customer relationships and deliver consistent service excellence
* Oversee warranty claims, Consite reports and FIR close-outs

What You'll Bring
* Trade qualification (HD Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, Mobile Plant Technician or similar)
* Strong technical background in mining, construction or heavy equipment
* Experience supervising or mentoring tradespeople
* Excellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage scheduling, job costing, WIP and labour recovery
* Computer literacy and strong organisation skills
Highly Regarded
* Hitachi or other major OEM experience
* Experience with AMT, D365 or OEM diagnostic systems
* OH&S Supervisor training, project management or logistics experience
