The Role: Shutdown Planner / Scheduler
Our Client is a leading privately owned multi-disciplined engineering and maintenance services company which focuses on delivering a full range of projects within the WA mining industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage shutdown planning, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to minimise operational downtime.
* Schedule and monitor all shutdown activities, liaising with teams and stakeholders to address any issues in real-time.
* Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, completing risk assessments and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
* Collaborate with clients to streamline shutdown processes, ensuring projects stay on track and meet operational targets.
Requirements:
* Significant experience in shutdown services, ideally in heavy industries such as mining, construction and oil & gas.
* Expertise in shutdown planning, scheduling, and risk management.
* Strong client-facing skills and a proactive approach to solving operational challenges.
* Familiarity with shutdown management software and industry best practices (ASSIGNAR).
