We’re on the hunt for a team player that can interpret client requirements, make design decisions, and manage stakeholders. This role will assist in injecting maturity into our design and delivery processes by collaborating with our delivery managers, project managers, BAs, engineers and product managers to deliver amazing outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solutions that meet business goals, technical standards, and delivery timelines.
- Translate complex business problems into practical, scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, BAs, engineers, and delivery leads to align solutions with roadmaps and capacity.
- Lead technical design workshops, creating clarity across squads and domains. Drive early technical alignment to avoid downstream delivery risks.
- Define solution patterns and guardrails to ensure consistency and quality across teams.
- Ensure technical decisions consider scalability, security, and operational sustainability.
- Balance tactical delivery needs with long-term architectural health.
- Create architecture artefacts (diagrams, decision records, etc.) at the right level of detail for delivery teams.
- Facilitate trade-off conversations between cost, speed, and technical risk.
- Coach and uplift technical leads and engineers in solution design best practices.
- Identify and drive opportunities for reuse and simplification across products.
- Contribute to technology strategy, standards, and governance processes where relevant.
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical design challenges.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or similar
- 3+ years experience in Solution Architecture
- 5+ years’ experience in Software Engineering.
