The Role
Your role as Finance Manager will play a key position in the company and will include a wide variety of duties. Key initial duties include (yet, certainly not limited to):
* Responsibility for the financial health of projects, including Work in Progress (WIP) reporting, project management analysis, P&L analysis and reports
* Business partnering with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including project managers
* Processing of transactional accounting (AP/AR)
* Weekly Payroll processing
* Take ownership of monthly reporting, complete with commentary and high-level analysis.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting (with a view to taking ownership)
* Involvement in numerous automation and improvement projects, which will provide amazing exposure and understanding of the business.
As you become more confident with your duties, the Managing Directors will look to expand your remit, ensuring you are continuously evolving professionally.
Your Background
To be considered for this Finance Manager role, you will have experience in a broad accounting position and should meet the majority of the following:
* Degree qualification (CA/CPA desired but not required)
* Experience in Financial and Management Accounting
* Construction or similar industry experience is preferred, but not a requirement
* Prior involvement in process improvement projects will be highly regarded.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Desire to take on an important role that includes both financial and management accounting, and project work in a medium-sized company.
