Role Overview:
We're on the lookout for a skilled tiler to help deliver quality finishes across a range of residential projects. In this role, you'll:
* Read plans and drawings to figure out what's needed for each job.
* Measure and mark up surfaces to plan your layout.
* Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces.
* Apply waterproofing where needed to keep things sealed and protected.
* Using cutting tools to cut and shape tiles for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes.
* Spread adhesive and lay tiles with care and precision.
* Grout and polish tiles for a clean, professional finish.
* Check your work to make sure it meets quality standards.
* Following safety procedures at all times.
* Collaborating with other trades and site supervisors to ensure timely project delivery.
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
About you
To be successful in these roles, you will need the following:
* Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in wall and floor tiling.
* Knowledge of tiling materials, adhesives, and waterproofing systems.
* Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
* Skilled in the use of tile-cutting tools and equipment.
* Attention to detail and quality.
* White Card.
* Driver's Licence.
* Work Safely at Heights.
* National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
