We are looking for a Project Support Specialist on behalf of our client in the mining industry who is actively positioning themselves to meet the worlds needs and to continue to sustainably generate value for their shareholders, employees and business partners as well as for their host communities and governments.
**About the role**:
- Assisting in a strategy and tactic project based in Brisbane
- Responsible for supporting strategy development of minerals processing assets
- Using your knowledge of business processes
- Following company principles
**About You**:
- Previous experience in a similar project role.
- Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to research, critically analyse, evaluate and reach sound conclusions and provide viable options.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and take a collaborative approach to work.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, establish priorities, use initiative and be proactive in raising and dealing with issues.
- Ability to continually reprioritise work appropriately.
- Demonstrated commitment to our client's values, purpose and trade unionism in general.
- Relevant Qualification in project management, strategic management, business process analysis and reengineering or similar.
- Some travel required
