Our client, a multi award winning, mid sized national agency, is seeking an experienced and people focused
Recruitment Manager
to lead their Sydney recruitment team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving strong recruitment outcomes, developing consultant capability, and strengthening key client relationships.
About the Role
The role includes ownership of a P&L while leading a team of 15 temp and perm consultants, ensuring the team operates with pace, quality, and consistency, and achieves quarterly performance targets.
Responsibilities include hiring, coaching, mentoring, and guiding the team, setting clear expectations, and holding consultants accountable for growth and performance. Strong leadership presence and the ability to navigate difficult conversations in the best interest of the team are essential.
Client engagement is a key element of the role, including maintaining and expanding existing relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting account growth. Close collaboration with internal stakeholders is required to refine processes, ensure compliance, and uphold company values across all operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and support a high performing recruitment team
* Coach and develop consultants to lift delivery standards and capability
* Oversee end to end recruitment processes with a focus on service excellence
* Build and strengthen client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional work
* Drive new business activity through outreach, lapsed client re engagement, and marketing follow up

* Proven experience in agency recruitment and team leadership, ideally within professional services (Commercial, Banking, Insurance)
