Due to our continued growth and project pipeline, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner with 5-8 years of experience to join SLR’s national Planning team in Brisbane. This is a full-time position where you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our team of 60 Planners across the country on top of having local support from an industry leader. Our QLD team, predominantly located in Brisbane, is made up of 13 planners who share an enthusiastic approach to life and work, creating a supportive team environment that is very eager to welcome new team members. We collaborate closely with our 23 in-house practices to deliver a comprehensive service to clients across various sectors. In this role you will enjoy collaborative working with industry leading professionals across the APAC SLR community. Responsibilities The ideal candidates will have: Planning analysis and research and confident in delivering exceptional results Managing projects without direct supervision Liaising with clients, councils, consultants & other government agencies Compiling of DA and EA lodgement packages Experience working across multi-disciplinary projects within a consulting environment Development of approval implementation advisory, including compliance with permits Business development and high-level client relationship management Experience Not only will you bring a great attitude and enthusiastic approach to your work, but you will also have: A degree in town planning or equivalent Ideally you will have 5-8 years working experience within a consulting business Excellent report writing skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to function effectively within a high performing team Our Benefits We are proud of our unique culture where we work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
