Support Mental Health Recovery
This role involves working with individuals who identify as living with mental illness to facilitate group activities and programs that promote hope, confidence, and recovery.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
1. Providing person-centered, trauma-informed support to individuals with mental illness.
2. Improving access to support services, mental health outcomes, and equity in service availability for individuals and groups across the region.
3. Engaging with community stakeholders to promote the organization's mission and values.
4. Reducing the avoidable need for more intense and acute health services through the design and implementation of recovery-oriented group programs.
5. Facilitating group activities and programs to support consumers' mental health and wellbeing.
6. Managing data and performing administrative duties related to the position.
