About the Role
Reporting to the Debt Management Team Leader, you'll be responsible for supporting the organisation\'s debt collection and receivables function. Key duties include:
Performing accounts receivable tasks such as receipting payments, managing pre-payments, setting up payment plans, and maintaining accurate records
Managing daily banking functions and reconciling against banking audit reports
Investigating and resolving invoice issues, payment disputes, and non-payments in liaison with internal departments
Communicating with external organisations such as Medicare, private health insurers, Transport Accident Commission (TAC), WorkCover (VWA), Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), and international patient insurers to follow up on outstanding debt
About You
You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a positive impact through your work. The successful candidate will have:
Experience in debt management, banking, or cashiering, ideally within the healthcare sector
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment
Solid computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and billing/finance systems
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
