About the role
Solace Creations is seeking a dynamic customer focussed showroom assistant to join our Fyshwick-based team. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of our showroom working closely with our office team, installers and clients. We are looking for someone with a warm personality, strong organisational skills, and a flair for customer service.
What you'll be doing
* Providing comprehensive administrative support to our operations and sales team, including managing calendars, confirming appointments, maintaining records, answering phone enquires and front of house duties
* Tracking frame and glass deliveries with our glass suppliers and frame delivery drivers
* Receiving deliveries into our showroom and processing them through our system
* Tracking inventory stock and keeping the storage area clean and organised
* Communications with clients and team members through phone, email, Buildertrend, and Whatsapp
* Answering service call requests and logging them in the system
* Assisting the sales team with walk-in customers and admin duties
* Providing a high level of customer service to clients
* Providing showroom tours
* General front-of-house maintenance
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably in a similar industry
* Permanent work rights with no restrictions
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work flexibly
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively
* Proficient in the use of software applications
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data
* Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle a variety of tasks and challenges
* A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the business
