An opportunity is available for an Environmental Scientist/Engineer to join our Site Solutions team, focusing on contaminated land management across various projects. The role is primarily based in Sydney, supporting broader Australian teams across NSW, WA, and beyond.
As part of a national team, you will gain valuable experience working on projects involving legacy industrial sites, fuel infrastructure, residential developments, and commercial properties.

We support your personal and professional growth. For this role, the prerequisites include:
* 2+ years of experience in contaminated land management or a related field
* Degree in environmental science or engineering
* Effective communication and time management skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Dedication to client satisfaction
* Willingness to undertake fieldwork and travel within NSW and interstate
About the Position
Your responsibilities will include:
* Site and field-based environmental data collection in Sydney, regional NSW, and occasionally elsewhere in Australia
* Measurement, maintenance, and calibration of equipment for surface water, groundwater, soil, sediment, vapour, noise, air quality, and meteorology
* Assisting in preparing contaminated land assessment reports
* Managing large data sources, documenting observations, and using database and digitization tools
* Networking with Ramboll specialists across Australia
