**Role responsibilities**:
- Work with ServiceNow developers in the development of business rules, client scripts (JavaScript), UI actions, form sections, notification events in ServiceNow platform to meet the business requirements following agreed best practice standards and version control of the code.
- Implementing platform upgrades, releases, patches & hot fixes across ServiceNow and Amazon Web Services non-production environments according to the implemented SDLC best practice framework ensuring environments are controlled and auditable throughout the development and testing cycles.
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under 'Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in Amazon Web Services, including Amazon Connect, AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex and Amazon DynamoDB. Should include analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and support experience.
- Demonstrated high level experience in ServiceNow development, ServiceNow certified System Administrator. ServiceNow experience should include analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation and support and a thorough understanding of the SDLC.
- Excellent problem analysis, root cause diagnosis, and solving skills, with the ability to analyse production incidents and lead and work effectively as part of a team of experts to resolve multi-functional problems.
- Provide expert process advice, guidance, and facilitation to stakeholders and ITSM process owners with regard to ServiceNow best practice development platform, methodology and solution architecture while remaining focused on Queensland Health business needs.
**Specific Working Conditions**:
- Participating in on-call arrangements is a requirement of this position. Appropriate remuneration under the Award will apply.
- The ability to be available as point of escalation where major service interruptions occur out of hours. Appropriate remuneration under the relevant award will apply.
- Reasonable travel as negotiated may be a requirement of this position.
- An open 'C' class driver's licence is desirable.
