In this full-time permanent position, you must be able to operate safely and efficiently as well as deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring safe and timely delivery across our servicing region.What will you be doing?Conducting pre-start checks on the vehicle and all equipment before useReporting any faults to their manager/representative immediatelyComplete daily run sheets and have all delivery notes signedDrive and work in a safe manner at all timesComplete daily load audits before leaving yardEnsuring tidy presentation of vehicle, equipment and personally at all timesVehicle is to be kept clean and in a good state of repairEnsure all required documentation is correctly compiled in accordance with state regulationsThorough knowledge of the regulation and requirements of NSW and QLD Road Rules and adhering to transport legislation/ guidelines and road safety guidelines at all timesAssist customer requests in placement of load where safe and practicable to do soAssist customers in any queries/disputesWhat are we looking for in the successful candidate?Flexibility – hours of work are usually between 5am – 5pm, occasional weekend work requiredGood communication skills and high attention to detailStrong planning and time management skillsProactive natureSteel experience highly desirableWhat’s in it for youFree parking onsiteOngoing training and career opportunities internally & externallyFree lunch on Fridays!Workplace benefits with everyday savings on food, fuel, retailer brandsMental health and wellbeing supportHow do you apply?Our culture is driven by our values.
