THE POSITION
* Prepare, cook and serve meals in line with procedures
* Apply catering control principles; food safety, waste minimisation and cleaning
* Responsible for maintaining food safety documents
* Stock control and rotation
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
THE PERSON
* Knowledge of food hygiene & OH&S
* Excellent time management, organisational, communication skills
* Commitment to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
* Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or another Chef qualification)
* Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza (or willing to be)
* Possess a National Police Clearance or a Working with Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain one)
* Willing to undergo a serology clearance
