Industrial Batteries Australia (IBA) is a national supplier of industrial motive power batteries, chargers, and related services, supporting some of the largest materials handling and logistics operations in the country.
We’re looking for a hands-on Battery Service Technician to join our NSW team based in Wetherill Park. You’ll play a key role in servicing, repairing, and maintaining industrial batteries and chargers—both in the field and in our workshop.
About the Role
You’ll be part of a close-knit service team that supports customers across NSW.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Testing, repairing, and maintaining industrial batteries and chargers at customer sites and in our workshop.
- Completing service reports and photo documentation for each job.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and your company vehicle to a high standard.
- Upholding IBA’s safety and quality standards.
- Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with our Service Manager and team.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who:
- Has previous experience in electrical, mechanical, or battery-related service work (training provided for the right candidate).
- Enjoys hands-on fieldwork and problem-solving.
- Is reliable, well-presented, and committed to protected work practices.
- Has a current driver’s licence (required).
