Congress, an Aboriginal community-controlled health organization, invites you to join their dynamic team, delivering holistic and culturally relevant primary healthcare to Aboriginal people in Alice Springs and surrounding areas. This includes six remote communities: Amoonguna, Ntaria, Santa Teresa, Utju, Yulara and Mutitjulu.

What's the role?

Step into a role where you'll provide culturally sensitive GP services within a comprehensive primary healthcare framework, focusing on Remote Communities.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, your impact will be instrumental in upholding clinical leadership, cultural authenticity, and elevated standards of care.

What do you need to apply?

* Hold specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
* Be a Fellow of the RACGP or ACRRM, or possess at least five years of GP experience
* Demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal culture, history, and ongoing issues
* Additional qualifications like Dip RANZCOG, FARGP, or MPH are highly valued
* Experience or accreditation as a supervisor of GP registrars is advantageous
* Have the capacity and suitable health and fitness levels for travel and work in remote locations
