 
        
        An exciting prospect for an experienced Account Payable Team Lead within a WA State Government department. 
**Your new company** 
We have partnered with a government department client to assist in their search for an experienced Team Leader to manage up to 4 accounts payable staff. You will be responsible for weekly payment runs to suppliers, review purchase card transactions and provide audit support. 
**Your new role** 
As an Accounts Payable Team Leader, your responsibilities will include: 
- Manage up to 4 AP staff 
- Payment of all invoices for department - 650 per month on average. 900 when busy 
- Weekly payment runs to suppliers 
- Review purchase card transactions 
- Supplier creation and vendor management 
- Occasional audit work 
**What you'll need to succeed** 
Previous experience in leadership is essential, as is: 
- Strong leadership skills and experience is essential, stern but fair attitude 
- Chart of accounts knowledge 
- Government processes experience advantageous 
- TechOne system experience preferred 
- Financial background team lead and AP experience preferred
