ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and driven Category Buyer to lead our vision within our Rubi team supporting Sandals, Flats & Flips on a 12-month contract. You will be responsible for leading the category and working with our Trend team to deliver on big ideas and key lifestyle items that align with our brand DNA and which our customers love. You will contribute to department reviews, apply learnings to category decision making and chase growth opportunities to ensure the success and profitability of our brand. You will collaborate with Production and support your Buying team to deliver on products that are in line with category strategies and which are compliant and cost-effective. If you are someone who is customer obsessed, is passionate about leading and developing people and loves developing and buying amazing products that our customers love, then we want to meet with you!
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Tertiary qualification / degree in relevant field. Buying
• Demonstrated experience working with production, trends and buying teams to achieve strategy visions
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with internal / external stakeholders and support teams.
• Will have worked in a leadership role in a significant multi-brand global retailer.
