Established in 2004, Peak ARE Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated business with a growing team of 80+ staff. We specialise in the delivery of Commercial and Industrial Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Electrical Services.
Our strength lies in our all-inclusive approach—from design and construction through to commissioning and servicing. We are known for our expertise in the HVAC industry, and work across both construction and service sectors, supported by strong Safety, Administration, and Electrical teams.
We've expanded into a market-leading, purpose-built facility at 350 Bayswater Road, which now includes an in-house, state-of-the-art sheet metal manufacturing division—a key part of our ongoing commitment to growth and innovation.
The Role
As Field Safety Officer, you'll be responsible for overseeing WHS&E requirements across our field operations and contractor network. You will play a critical role in implementing, maintaining, and promoting our Safety Management Systems, and ensure our team operates effectively and safely—without compromising the high level of service our clients expect.

Skills & Experience We're Looking For
Essential:
* Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety
* 1 - 2+ years' experience in Construction or HVAC industry
* Strong administrative, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Positive, professional attitude with the ability to work both independently and in a team
Desirable (but not essential):
* Cert IV in Training & Assessment
* Incident investigation experience
* Experience with WHS platforms such as:
o Safety Culture
o SimPRO
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and monitor WHS&E compliance across Peak ARE worksites
* Maintain open communication with field teams and supervisors
* Support the coordination and oversight of high-risk activities
* Assist with internal and external audits to meet ISO and other accreditation standards
* Lead incident/accident reporting and investigation processes
* Maintain WHS resources such as PPE, First Aid Kits, and safety equipment
* Conduct regular Toolbox Talks and site consultations
* Support the development and maintenance of Peak's Integrated Management System (IMS)
* Contribute to company-wide communication, meetings, and performance targets
