Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our Civil Law section, you will provide legal advice and information to clients regarding the law, rights, and legal processes.
Key responsibilities include providing expert reports, acting as solicitor and counsel at Tribunals, Magistrates Court, and Supreme Court, assisting and advising Tasmania Legal Aid practitioners, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing reports, undertaking legal research, engaging in service development, outreach, and community legal education activities, and performing other professional legal work within the Tasmanian Legal Aid.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Admitted or eligible for admission as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania and the relevant Federal courts.
* A Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
* A Legal Practitioner with more than 2 years' relevant post-admission experience.
* Current Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence.
