**Your new role**
As the Marketing and Events Coordinator, you will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and organising high-impact events. This role is a contract position for a period of 3 to 6 months and will be based in office.
- Coordinating all aspects of event planning and marketing, including venue selection, budget management, logistics coordination, and post-event evaluation.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth running of events.
- Developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies to promote events and enhance brand awareness.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on event performance and marketing outcomes.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong organisational skills and a track record of successful marketing and events coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using marketing software and digital platforms.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to think creatively and work independently.
- Demonstrated hands on marketing experience.
- Demonstrated success in coordinating and promoting events within a public sector environment is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organisational, project management, and communication skills.
- A clear commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
- A valid Department of Human Services Working with Children Check (DHS WWCC).
