Role
There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK's largest house builders. Our Wessex Division located in Ringwood is looking to recruit a Sales Office Manager to join the Division's Sales team.
Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate the progression of sales from reservation to legal completion, including liaising with solicitors and collating legal documents as requested, ensuring all targets are achieved.
* Train and coach sales administration staff and ensure they understand sales department responsibilities/duties, their work is to a high standard and delivered within required timeframes.
* Ensure adequate cover in the sales office, manage sales office holidays and ensure staff have knowledge of each other's roles to cover for absences.
* Keep all sales systems up to date and ensure sales reports are produced accurately and on time.
* Respond to customer telephone and email enquiries and related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
* Liaise with solicitors and coordinate legal documents.
* Produce and collate information for inclusion in board reports and generate weekly, monthly and other reports as required by the sales department, divisional management and Group Head Office.
* Coordinate the distribution of information between the sales department and other departments within the division.
* Support the Sales Director/Head of Sales on day-to-day operational tasks.
Experience and Qualifications
* Experience of providing high level administrative support to senior management.
* Experience of working in a high-pressure environment with strict deadlines.
* Evidence of leading an administrative team.
* No formal qualifications are necessary but evidence of relevant experience and skills will be required.
* Proficient IT skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and the ability to adapt to new systems.
