Casual position's available rostered over mornings, afternoons, passive shifts over a 7-day week, in our Goolwa team.
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering people with disabilities to live their best lives by providing compassionate, personalised support that allows them to thrive and participate actively in their communities.
Community Living Australia has charitable status for Fringe Benefits Tax purposes and is therefore able to offer attractive taxation benefits with up to $15,900 tax free per year and $2,650 tax free to use towards meals and entertainment per year through salary sacrifice

What you'll be doing
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Provide support with household duties including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
* Advocate for clients' needs and preferences, ensuring their rights and choices are respected
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational and regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised support plans
What you'll need to have
* A Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability (or equivalent) students welcomed
* A current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* NDIS Worker Check & Working with Children Check
* Passion for health and safety demonstrated through maintaining First Aid, CPR & Safe Environments for Children & Young People
* A positive attitude with flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster including passive overnight shifts
