As a Senior Structural Engineer you will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of complex structural engineering projects. Working within a dynamic and highly-skilled team, you will be responsible for providing strategic, high-quality engineering solutions that meet the needs of our diverse client base. This is a full-time position based in our Perth, Western Australia office.
What you'll be doing
* Lead the structural design of a variety of building projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments
* Conduct detailed structural analyses and produce structural drawings, calculations, and specifications
* Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to more junior engineers within the team
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, codes, and engineering best practices
* Contribute to the development of innovative design solutions and the continuous improvement of our engineering services
What we're looking for
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a minimum of 5-8 years' post-graduate experience
* Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent professional registration
* Extensive experience in the structural design of a range of building types, including multi-storey structures
* Strong technical skills in structural analysis, design, and project delivery
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
* Proficient in the use of industry-standard engineering software and design tools
