About the role
We are seeking an experienced Salon Manager to join the team at Lily Me Red Hair in our Carrara QLD location. As our Salon Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vibrant hair and beauty salon, ensuring exceptional customer service and the overall success of the business. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth within our dynamic organisation.
What you'll be doing
* Manage the salon's staff, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management
* Oversee inventory and ordering of all salon products and equipment
* Ensure the salon meets or exceeds financial targets through effective management of budgets and costs
* Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the salon and attract new clients
* Foster a positive, customer-focused work environment and lead by example
* Handle customer inquiries, bookings and feedback to maintain high levels of client satisfaction
* Ensure the salon maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, health and safety
* Share your time between being on the floor and rostered time off the floor with dedicated work hours to do the management tasks required including training of apprentices
What we're looking for
* Must have Cert 3 in Hairdressing
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Salon Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hair and beauty industry
* Proven track record of driving sales, enhancing customer experience and achieving financial targets
* Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* Passion for the hair and beauty industry and a commitment to staying up-to-date with trends and techniques
* Business acumen and financial management skills
* Familiarity with salon software and point-of-sale systems
* Focus on training and mentoring
