Solution Delivery Manager - Logistics Technology Leadership Are you an accomplished technology leader with a passion for solving complex business challenges? Our client, a major logistics organisation, is seeking a seasoned Solution Delivery Manager to spearhead their solution delivery function, reporting directly to the CIO. This pivotal role is the bridge between technology and business strategy, driving innovation across the enterprise's technology landscape. As Solution Delivery Manager, you will: · Establish and lead the Solution Delivery function, developing high-performance team culture. · Translate organisational strategy into robust technology delivery plans, supporting both BAU and project environments. · Oversee architecture and solution design processes, ensuring scalability, integration, and maintainability. · Manage the full lifecycle of business applications and data assets, including upgrades, enhancements, and compliance. · Partner with Technology Manager and PMO to ensure operational readiness for new solutions. · Serve as the go-to leader for solution design and execution, regularly driving continuous improvement. · Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a key liaison between business and technology. · Develop, monitor, and control budgets, ensuring resources are allocated optimally. · Implement governance, risk management, and compliance standards to meet regulatory requirements. · Champion innovation, service excellence, and capability development within your team and across the organisation. Experience and Skills Required: · Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent experience. · Minimum 5 years' track record in solution delivery, technical delivery, or architecture in complex environments. · Proven success in leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic outcomes. · Extensive experience with modern collaboration platforms, cloud-based environments, and enterprise applications. · Strong technical background in architecture, business systems, and integrations. · Sound understanding of IT governance frameworks, regulatory standards, and risk management. · Project management and strategic planning abilities. · Stakeholder engagement, excellent communication, and negotiation skills. · Current minimum C Class driver's license; ability to obtain Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC). Desirable Attributes: · Industry-recognised certifications (TOGAF, ITIL, Agile, PRINCE2, PROSCI). · Experience with small, agile teams and hybrid delivery models. · Technical hands-on skills with software, integrations, and data governance. · Insight into change management, organisational design, PMO, and service delivery best practices. · Strong analytical, critical thinking, and adaptability to change. · Logistics or related industry experience is a plus.
