About the Role
An immediate opportunity is available for a General Practitioner to join a busy mixed billing clinic in Cairns. This role is ideal for a GP seeking a locum placement with flexibility and strong financial incentives, with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis until a permanent doctor is secured.
You'll be working in a DPA MM2 location, making this suitable for doctors under moratorium, while enjoying a structured weekday roster and supportive clinical environment.
What's on Offer
* $200 per hour or 70% of billings (whichever is higher)
* $75 per session (4 hours) towards accommodation
* Return flights provided (QLD, NSW or VIC)
* Car provided for the duration of the placement

Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, patient-centred consultations
* Manage a range of general practice presentations
* Work collaboratively with clinic staff and support team
* Maintain accurate clinical records and continuity of care
What You'll Need
* Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
* Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM (or equivalent)
* Ability to commit to minimum 2-week blocks
* Strong communication and patient care skills
