APO ClerkWe’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused APO Clerk to join our team. This role provides important support to the Postmaster and helps keep the Army Post Office (APO) running smoothly. You’ll handle tasks like sorting mail, processing outgoing items, and making sure postal rules are followed.If you’re organized, work well under pressure, and take pride in accuracy, this could be a great fit for you.What You’ll Be Doing:Sort and deliver incoming mail (personal and official)Check outgoing mail for correct postage, address, and labelsCollect and process mail from drop boxesBundle and label mail for deliveryKeep records and ensure mail is sent on timeRedirect and forward mail as neededHandle postage stock and APO financesFollow postal rules for U.S. and international mailProvide general admin support during APO hoursMake sure all work follows OASIS policies and proceduresHelp with other duties as requested by the Postmaster or Support Services ManagerOther Duties May Include:Managing stock levels and handling cashEnsuring a positive experience for customersFollowing correct steps for handling customer requestsSkills & Experience We’re Looking For:Technical:Confident using Microsoft Word and ExcelComfortable working at a front desk and providing customer serviceBehavioral:Works safely and professionallyCommunicates clearlyCan work independently and as part of a teamFollows our Code of Conduct and company policiesLeadership:Presents professionally to customers and staffCan take the lead when neededManagement:Good at organizing work and sharing tasks with othersReporting Lines:Reports To: PostmasterMay Work Closely With: On-Site Service Manager, Logistics Team, Custodial, Maintenance Support, HLSQualifications:Required:Cash handling experienceValid driver’s licenseDesirable:Experience with SAPCertificate or diploma in ManagementExperience:Background in postal services, logistics, or similar fieldPhysical Requirements:Able to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg)Able to stand for up to 4 hoursSecurity Requirement:This role requires you to hold and maintain a US Secret clearanceAmentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
