The opportunity
As Senior Manager, Retirement Solutions, you'll define and execute UniSuper's enterprise-wide approach to retirement. This high-profile role interacts regularly with senior leaders, department heads, the Board and subcommittees. You'll lead the management and delivery of our Retirement Income Strategy (RIS), ensuring our products and services provide exceptional value and support to members throughout their retirement journey.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the cross-functional Retirement team, collaborating with Product, Marketing, Digital, Advice and other teams fund wide.
* Driving the definition and execution of UniSuper's Retirement Income Strategy, ensuring compliance and tracking success metrics, including governance forums and academic partnerships.
* Overseeing the retirement product suite, including roadmap development, operations, advice support, and pricing.
* Building and developing a high-performing team with clear processes and deliverables.
* Fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Product, Marketing & Growth, Advice, Service & Experience, Legal, Risk & Compliance) and external partners (industry groups, academic community)
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* 10+ years' experience in financial services, with deep knowledge of retirement products and strategies.
* Demonstrated expertise in product management/development and stakeholder engagement.
* Ability to understand actuarial concepts and longevity risk solutions (actuarial qualification desirable but not essential).
* Experience managing professional services relationships.
* Tertiary qualifications in finance, investments, actuarial science, business, or law strongly preferred.
* Core competencies in facilitating change, prioritisation and accountability, operational decision-making, and driving results for performance excellence.
