This exciting opportunity supports the activation and promotion of Mandurah's City Centre through development and implementation of programs, projects, and activations. Working across various departments and collaborating with local businesses and the wider community, the role will lead initiatives driving visitation, investment, and economic growth in Mandurah's City Centre.
Main Responsibilities
* Support the implementation of Mandurah's City Centre Master Plan under development.
* Develop and implement a range of programs, projects, and activations promoting the City Centre.
* Collaborate with local businesses and the community to develop initiatives driving visitation, investment, and economic growth.
* Lead project management and coordination activities.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this challenging role, you will require:
* Tertiary qualifications relevant to the field.
* A current unrestricted C class national driver's license.
* Substantial experience in planning and delivering projects, programs, and events.
* Demonstrated project management skills.
* An understanding of economic development and community engagement principles.
* An awareness of the local economy and current issues facing small businesses.
* Knowledge of administration and operational project implementation.
* Experience in sponsorship and marketing strategies.
* Excellent communication, active listening, and conflict resolution skills.
* Self-motivation and ability to work with limited supervision.
* Strong analytical, research, and evaluation skills.
