We are seeking an experienced and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join a leading Caterpillar dealership in Australia. This is a fantastic prospect to work with world-class CAT machinery, in a role that offers stability, competitive pay, and long-term career growth.
The Role
As a Diesel Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of Caterpillar equipment. This position offers a 7 days on / 7 days off roster with 12-hour shifts on a flat rate ($47-$53, negotiable depends on experience), giving you a great work-life balance. You’ll be working with the latest technology, supported by a safety-focused and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, and repair CAT machinery and engines
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
Carry out testing, calibrations, and system adjustments
Provide technical support and high-quality service to customers
Maintain accurate service records and adhere to safety standards
What we\'re looking for
Robust mechanical and diagnostic skills
Previous hands on experience with heavy mobile plant (Caterpillar highly regarded, but not essential)
