Weighbridge Administration Officer - Feedlot
Brindley Park Feedlot, conveniently located just 30 minutes from Roma, has a capacity of 17,000 standard cattle units, with diverse cattle types from long fed Wagyu through to mid fed export cattle and a range of feeding programs. There is development approval to double the capacity, offering growth opportunities.
Overview
Reporting to the Administration Manager, the weighbridge officer takes primary responsibility for timely and accurate processing of all weighbridge activities along with:
Responsibilities
- Professional liaison and communication with visitors, suppliers, staff and drivers
- Accurate and timely collection, recording & processing of data and information
- Effective utilisation of livestock data systems (e.g., StockaID and FY3000 or similar)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Reporting on weighbridge activities as required
- Providing back up support/relief to other administration team members

Along with having a valid drivers' licence, for the right candidate with an interest in being hands on with livestock, there is also an opportunity to cross train and rotate within the livestock team.
