About the Position:
* We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Caregiver Support Specialist to join our team in providing care support in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centred care support to clients, respecting their rights and needs.
* Assist clients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties.
* Accompany clients on errands and provide companionship and emotional support.
* Support clients with academic, social, or recreational activities.
* Prepare meals and administer medications as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of client health and wellbeing.
* Respond promptly to emergency situations.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent is essential.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
* A valid National Police Check and NSW Working with Children Check.
* A current Drivers Licence.
* A First Aid CPR Certificate, valid for the past 12 months.
