**The Role**

In this exciting role you have the opportunity to draw on your experience to deliver training and assessment in military rigging and line laying, including as the supervisor of a simulated construction site.
You will need a strong attention to detail, with a key focus on and strict adherence to WHS standards and safety procedures, and the ability to identify and minimise risk.
This includes when maintaining rigging equipment like harnesses, lifting and safety equipment.
You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of course learning support material and assessment tools across a variety of training methods including instructor led, distance learning and online self-paced learning packages.
**About our Team**
The team is made of a unique mix of military, Australian Public Service and contracted personnel within a Defence establishment located in Macleod, Victoria.
Your role within the team is to provide training and assessment to recently recruited and seasoned military personnel on a range of military rigging and line laying courses which are conducted in a simulated environment.
The team is also responsible for all maintenance and equipment associated with training and assessment.
You will be able to lead a small unique team to deliver training to inexperienced personnel in an easy to understand format that will be enhanced by your good communications skills.
A strong work ethic, intrinsic motivation, good time management, flexibility and an excellent background in safety on a worksite is highly desired.
