Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to lead our team in delivering exceptional facilities and project outcomes.
* Develop and execute comprehensive designs and projects that meet Divisional objectives and University requirements.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineers and stakeholders to drive innovation and excellence in building services engineering.
* Design, plan and manage complex building types, including laboratory, office, teaching, data centre, venue and retail spaces.
* Lead analysis, reporting and supervision relating to mechanical engineering, ensuring alignment with Divisional commitments and University values.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will focus on HVAC systems and controls, as well as energy efficiency initiatives. This role will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading design and delivery of mechanical engineering solutions for campus facilities.
* Coordinating with stakeholders to identify and implement energy-efficient solutions.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with external partners and vendors.
* Contributing to the development of Divisional policies and procedures related to mechanical engineering.
