About This Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide guidance and mentorship to water and wastewater treatment personnel, including operators and technicians.
1. Provide technical support in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including pump stations, bore sites, reservoirs etc.
2. Liaise with our Training and Development team to support the delivery of training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of treatment staff.
Key Responsibilities:
In this busy role, you will be responsible for mentoring new operators within your field. You will assist us in developing a comprehensive training program which aligns with council's policies. As well as liaising with other departments where necessary regarding operational issues that may arise during daily work.
Requirements
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills & demonstrate ability to lead teams through open communication lines ensuring we build strong relationships across departments internally & externally.
The ideal applicant should have significant experience operating SCADA systems along-side demonstrating a high level of computer literacy having up-to-date Microsoft Office Suite proficiency as well as being able quickly adapt various software used by Council throughout operations management processes described above.
